Filmed mostly in and around Bam's home near West Chester, PA, "Viva" is the life and times of Bam, plus some. Pranks abound, mostly at the cost of Bam's parents' sanity, and demolition is an absolute must, but the series isn't all games. Cameras follow Bam everwhere for months out of the year: on tour in Europe, on the road in the Midwest, and during downtime at home. No place is sacred and nothing is unwatched. "Viva" brings viewers an unprecidented amount of candid observation that the "CKY" videos only leave to be desired and "Jackass" never even touched on. Sure, the merry prankster is in evidence at every turn, but the calmer side of life with the Margeras is also explored.

"Viva La Bam" is practically unclassifiable in this way. Is it a documentary? Is it a skating show? Is it just another "Jackass?" Well, the answer is Yes and No. It is all those things, and a whole lot more.
